Use the drill to drive concrete screws through the track s holes and into the starter holes.
Screws into neighbors floor.
You can also put some extra screws into the floor joists to secure loose areas of the subfloor.
Concrete screws are the only kind of screws that are strong enough to penetrate concrete.
Concrete is a dense material so you ll need a screw that can penetrate 1 inch 2 5 centimeters into the concrete.
Really a great tool.
However this is one procedure you cannot alter successfully.
Would use this product again.
To put screws in concrete you need special screws a drill and the right technique.
Putting screws into ceramic tile without breaking it may seem impossible at first but if you have the right equipment and do things in the right order you will find that it is actually a very simple process.
Try to get the concrete screw to go at least an inch into the concrete.
You ll want the screw to go about an inch past the plywood into the joist or underlying layer beneath it.
Repeat the track layout and anchoring procedure for the top track and hoist the sliding doors between the tracks to complete the installation.
All of the scored screws broke off easily without any projection into the carpeting.
They come in different lengths and it s important to have several sizes on hand.
Kept on fixing squeaks one by one until were got them all.
How to replace toilet anchor bolts.
Toilet anchor bolts hold your toilet to the floor and keep it connected to the flange which is the opening to the waste line.
If the plywood subfloor you re placing.
Try the concrete screw first and if it does not grab in the hole you can make the hole larger and insert a plastic or metal expansion shield and install a regular screw to the shed floor.
To find out which length of screw you ll need you first have to know how thick the flooring is.
One way to find the existing nail or screw locations on the joist is to use a magnetic or electronic nail sensor to locate the nails.
So if your subfloor is 3 4 of an inch thick any screw about 1 3 4 inches long will do the trick.
Finding the studs was the hardest part of the project.

We were trying to fix squeaks in the floor beneath carpeting.
But if you are adamant about using screws just get any generic torx head t25 2 framing screws no need to spring for grks though i concede they are nice technical screws i like the grk rss line for timbers and the like.
