The ac drain hose if your sitting in the front passenger seat picture where your left foot would be up under the dash against the transmission tunnel hump.
You can just pull it off and clean it out.
A damp carpet or water on floor passenger side situation can be caused by a plugged ac condensate drain line a leaking heater core leaking windshield seal a problem with sunroof drains or water ingestion from the fresh air intake on your car s hvac system.
When your ac evaporator freezes up and then suddenly thaws out from improper charge poor air flow expansion valve problem or thermostatic temp control malfunction the sudden thawing and in turn flooding can over exceed the drain capacity causing water to the floor.
For example a poorly installed windshield or aging sunroof could allow water into the cabin.
Open your hood and on the passenger side of the fire wall you should see a black tube coming out maybe 6 long.
2010 probably up through 2014 s.
About where your little toe is there is a black hose coming down along the side of the transmission tunnel hump.
A partially plugged drain can also add to the problem.
The evaporator core for your subaru ac system is usually located in the dash on the passenger side and it will sweat similarly to glass of ice water.
The condensation must go somewhere so it finds its way to the passenger floor.
Excessive corrosion is another culprit as it may cause tiny holes to form in your car s body panels.
It could be the car a c leaking water on the floor which we ll go into deeper detail about or it could be a non a c related issue.
There s a drain hose that carries this moisture away but it can get plugged up.
When you disconnect it plug the part that drains water with your finger and use anything long thin and dull to push through whatever is clogging the part that runs to the floor.
